4/6/21 Update: The issue discovered in Beta2 has been resolved, however, please continue to build yourself or Beta1. Our team is working on Beta3 and will provide a more accurate timeline here as we get closer.

We’re happy to announce the release of ProGuard 7.1.0-beta 2. Note, you can download ProGuard from GitHub or check out the manual to integrate it into your build. Here are a few relevant updates:

  • Numerous improvements to optimizations, including 5 new ones.
  • ProGuardTask is now compatible with Gradle 7 and is now cacheable.
